Your assignment is to research heroes from one of the following categories: political or military heroes, performing arts hero, hero of social change (activist, humanitarian, philanthropist), hero from science and technology, and sports hero. You must evaluate character traits, leadership abilities, effects of their heroic deeds on society, abilities to solve problems/conflicts, etc. All heroes must have performed some heroic deed during the twentieth or twenty-first centuries.
